The richness of the solid-wood acoustic experience begins with Taylor's 300 Series, of which the Taylor 312ce is part of. Sapele shares mahogany's lively tonal response and, together with a gloss-finish Sitka spruce top, rings out with a brightness and clarity that give these guitars a definitive Taylor voice. Black binding flanks sapele's ribbon-like grain, with large pearl fretboard dots adding a traditional touch.

Sitka Spruce Top, African Mahogany Back and Sides

The warm tone and open midrange of African mahogany on the 312ce acoustic-electric guitar balances the bright and snappy characteristics of a Sitka spruce top. The resulting combination provides the perfect guitar for strong, rhythmic playing styles.

The Taylor Grand Concert Body

The Grand Concert is the quintessential small-bodied guitar. Its comfortable shape delivers clarity and a balanced response for an unforgettable player experience. The scaled-down proportions make the Taylor 312ce Grand Concert ideal for fingerstyle playing.

Taylor Expression System Electronics

Designed to faithfully reproduce your guitar's native tone, the Taylor 312ce uses Taylor's own ES Expression System to capture top and string vibration like never before. Created in partnership with renowned audio pioneer, Mr. Rupert Neve, the Taylor ES is seamlessly integrated into the design of the guitar from the ground up. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally clean amplified read more sound.

Satin Finish with Gloss Top

The finish on the Taylor 312ce Grand Concert creates this guitar's textured satin back and sides. The lustrous gloss top was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra-violet cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.

I play a lot of acoustic guitar and I have played them all, this is a work of art. I was torn between the 314ce and the 312ce I had played them both and loved both of them and almonst changed my mind at the last minute. This guitar is not the loudest guitar I,ve ever played but the tone is rich, deep and has a certain sparkle that only a Taylor has. I'm glad to have it. It will never leave my guitar arsonal. I will surely be investing into the 314ce in the near future.
