The Tama Silverstar Accel Driver drum set features 100% birch shells for a punchy, tight and powerful sound. Versatile enough for any musical genre, the sound of Accel Driver drum set is rich and cutting for performing on stage or recording. Additional features are hardened steel triple flanged hoops and an improved Star-Mount suspension system with slideable tom holder. Featuring a gorgeous lacquer finish, you will enjoy the sound and look of the Silverstar line.

Carefully selected birch materials are utilized for the Silverstar shells.We use the same manufacturing process and methods to create Silverstar that we use to build our high-end drums. The end result is an instrument that exhibits powerful rich tone and resonance usually found in more expensive drums.

The tom brackets feature eye bolts that swivel from side to side so they're never in the way when you reposition your toms.

Tama VL52KS Silverstar Accel-Driver: Slidable Tom Holder

The MTH905N double tom holder makes it possible to move your toms forward or backward simply by using a drum key to adjust the locking tension bolt.

Tama VL52KS Silverstar Accel-Driver: Upgraded Low Mass Lug

Silverstar drums feature newly designed separate lugs. Because these new lugs make less contact with the surface of the shell, they allow the drums to fully vibrate.

Sound: The sound of these drums are what I expected from tama, The kit has tight sound when tuned right, Vary responsive I use Attack heads on snare and toms, And evans g4s oon the bass. great live or studio. Feature: The features of this kit are great, the tom holder slide is great, Nice lugs and rubber backing on shells for great tone and sustain, Ease of Use: Vary easy to tune great sound! Quality: the drums are made well, But I had a Problem with my rims the manufactoring cuts had defects, Besides that the Quality is good. Value: worth it! Manufacturer Support: I contacted costumer service They were very helpful and promt! The Wow Factor: A very sexy kit, I have the blueburst! Overall: For a long time!

Overall: The kit arrived quickly from Zzounds and was packed well at the factory. Everything went together very easily. The antique brown birch looks amazing and the interior stain ia an upgrade touch. For the price and sound you would have a hard time beating this kit. Hardware is heavy-duty and designed to look awesome with any finish. Easy to tune up and set up. Toms are set for a right-handed player so I had to adjust the star mounts for a leftie. The tom mount is innovative. You will not be disappointed and Zzounds is the ONLY place to buy from. I got personalized support I did not receive from 3 other businesses. BUY HERE!
