Takamine EG240 Acoustic Customer Review

I am a beginner and I really like this guitar. The feel and ease of tuning was just incredible. I did not feel intimidated at first strumming at all. The sound is very clear and steady. I bought some Martin strings and it stays in tune for days.

About This Product!
Description
The G Series from Takamine has created great controversy. Play a G Series guitar and you're apt to think it's one of the finest acoustic/electrics made. That's because it is. Actually, each one is made under the commanding rule of the luthiers who hand craft the guitars of the pros, which is precisely why the G Series feel so good, and sound so good.

The contention, however, comes down to this: How can such fine instruments be so incredibly affordable? There is no simple answer. But what we can tell you is that these guitars rival the mid and many upper line models of other popular makers. Be it construction, the woods chosen, or the playability, nothing in the G Series has been sacrificed. Fact is, the Takamine G Series even comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

If there is one guitar that usually winds up being your first guitar, or the guitar in your collection you play most often, it's the Dreadnought. Because of this, Takamine G Series Dreadnoughts are designed to be special instruments. Guitars that will grow with you. Guitars that will feel as comfortable in your hands as your favorite old blue jeans feel on your body.

The necks, needless to say, are flawless. Professionally tapered with a radius fingerboard and a 1-9/16 in. nut width, your fingers will glide through chords and scales as easily as a knife slices through butter.

In the early 90's, Takamine introduced the "NEX" body style. This small-bodied acoustic with its characteristic cutaway has quickly gained universal acceptance. By popular demand, the G Series is now available in this beautifully shaped body style as well. Nato or Rosewood adorns the backs and sides of the G Series while all feature select Spruce or Cedar tops. The result is a big, resonant sound with unsurpassed clarity and sustain.
