Feature:
Just about all the control you'd ever need. It comes with a footswitch for those rare times when you need the effects.
Quality:
The SWR made units are excellent. They are now owned by Fender so there may be some design changes afoot. this is a major point to consider.
Value:
Money means nothing when you buy equipment of this caliber. It is the sound and reliability that counts.
Desirability:
Who cares!! I'm using it not looking at it.
Sound:
Extremely clear, very responsive, lots of depth. Very nice for recording direct. I use it with a Hartke pro 2100 (I think that's the model #, it's the extra large cabinet) 4 x 10 and an SWR (goliath series) 1 x 18. Alot of times I just use one of these cabinets. I also use it as a direct box / pre-amp for recording. Very nice compressor. I cover alot of styles from 1940's to Zappa, fusion, R&B, Soft/hard rock, Grunge, Reggae, Rap, etc.
Support:
Happy to say I haven't needed service. This amp gets heavy use a few times per month.
Overall:
I've had alot of pro setups. I'm coming off a Yamaha pre-amp / BGW power amp rig. The SWR sounds better, is easier on my speakers and is about 15 lbs. lighter than my previous rig. I've been using SWR products for many years and have been very happy wih them. My old SWR 4 x 10 and current SWR 1 x 18 (boh goliath series) were used with 2 - 2000 watt RMS Hill amps and they handled it beautifully. I don't play gigs that big any more. I expect to keep this head for many years. If this unit was stolen I'd be crushed as it will sone be irreplaceble. I find it hard to believe that Fender won't mess it up somehow.

Feature:
I love the distortion. You can blend it in with the clean sound to be sure the low end doesn't disappear. I use the limiter all the time to keep my playing even.
Quality:
No problems whatsoever.
Value:
It does seem a bit expensive, but I still think it's worth it.
Desirability:
It does look very cool with the Goliath Sr I have. The chrome and black is pretty sweet on stage.
Sound:
The sound is very SWR. Full, deep lows. Clear highs. Punchy. A very rich, powerful sound. I play a Fender Precision, and the sound is just perfect. My band plays Indie Rock and I have to compete with two loud guitars and a loud drummer. I have no trouble being heard, and
Support:
The always email me back quickly whenever I have a question.
Overall:
I'm not sure I could afford to replace it if it broke, but I am definitely NOT looking for anything else. It meets my needs perfectly, and I'm really glad I bought it.
