The SWR Goliath Series created the modern standard for bass instrument sound reproduction. Now the same painstaking attention to detail has been applied to their line of professional neodymium speaker enclosures--the golight(tm) series.

These high-quality, lightweight enclosures are the result of a painstaking process in which every component of their Goliath Series was evaluated and, whenever possible, a new lightweight high- performance component was selected for use in their golight enclosures. This model features a 1x15 enclosure, 350 watts handling, custom SWR neodymium speaker, horn tweeter with attenuator, Speakon and 1/4" speaker jacks, side handles, vibration-free shock-mounted grill, front slot port. 45 lbs. (20.4 kg) Impedance: 8 ohms.

Sound: The sound is as good as any bass cab I've played but I'm sure there's something better out there. 1x15 isn't quite enough if you aren't mic'd. Two cabs are plenty loud without being mic'd. Feature: Best thing about this cab is how light it is. It's lighter than anything I've ever used. Oh, and it doesn't come with casters and it's not equipped to use casters. Some descriptions I've read say otherwise. I own it and it doesn't have casters. Ease of Use: Just plug it in. Quality: Overall, very well made. The plastic covers on the corners can crack if you aren't careful though. Value: I wouldn't pay full price for this cabinet. And I didn't. Manufacturer Support: Have not dealt with support. The Wow Factor: If you are moving it, lighter is better. Overall: I plan on keeping this cab. I don't think I'll ever need anything else. I'll buy a new bass before I buy a new cab.
