Sound: it doesnt sound bad..but it isnt a fender...it is a great sound for the price though and would recomend it for a beginner Feature: i dont use the whammy bar so i'd rather have a stop tail..but i just took it out and never use it and it works fine...the tuners are great for the price...strings dont ever fall to bad...and the pickups are fine..i switched mine out with fender vintage noiseless but it sounded fine with the PUs it came with and only hums a little Ease of Use: It plays pretty close to a standard strat and it's pretty easy to get out a nice sound....but it is a little hard to get the fastest of soloes on this Quality: it's quality is great except for the quarter inch output...it keeps coming loose so i have to take it out every week or so to tighten it...but other than that it's great Value: it's great for a beginner and you could probably even do a little gigging with this... but if you have the money get a fender standard strat...but if you are on a tight budget this is the way to go Manufacturer Support: never used it so i dont really know The Wow Factor: looks exactly like a fender except the head stock is shaped different Overall: For the most part i'm glad i got this guitar...it hasnt ever "let me down" but now i'm starting to buy upgrade parts for it so soon all that will be left is the body...but just to start out with and play on an electric is worth it

"Incredible Value"

Sound: One tip: go to your local guitar shop and have them replace the wires that run in between the knobs, selector switch, and output jack. Within a year of owning this guitar, the original wires gave out and it started to sound awful or not play at all. After the wires were replaced and the guitar had a shop tune up (cost me $15,) this guitar sounds incredible, especially considering the price. I use it for my regular rehearsal guitar for jazz band practices and as a show guitar for some of the more rock and blues based tunes we do. This is also an excellent funk guitar. Keep the bass up and the treble down and use an amp with good punch. Feature: Has all the features you would want out of a guitar. Nothing over the top, but it has what you need to get a good range of sounds and characteristics. Ease of Use: I got this 4 years ago for Christmas as my first guitar. It was easy to pick up then, and still feels like a good guitar now. Quality: This is a very well crafted guitar minus the wires, which are crap. For the price, the value is unmatched. A comprably priced squier strat pales in comparison. Value: Incredible value. If you take care of this guitar, it will last you a long time and serve you well. Manufacturer Support: I've had no experience with the company. The Wow Factor: I've had a couple comments, but really it's just a generic "electric guitar-guitar" look. Overall: I also own a custom shop hollowbody guitar (about $600) for jazz and funk, and I use the Silvertone just as much.
