I bought these based on the price, some online reviews and a quick hands on at a local shop. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. They're built like a truck, loads of torque, and have a lot more features than I would have expected in a $500-$600 turntable. They also come with a sm.v3 cart mounted on a stanton headshell and the sound is loud and clean on vinyl. It holds a groove pretty well when scratching. Timecode works fine. They're also pretty nice looking, IMHO. My only gripe is pretty minor... the second start/stop button. I find it unnecessary, and I think the space would be better without it. It leaves nowhere to put your 45 adapter or a dicer or any number of other things that would prove more useful than TWO start/stop buttons. Why? Seriously, who needs that? Still gotta give these things 5/5 though. If you're on a budget, these are a the decks you want. If price wasn't an issue I would have gone with some 1210s/m44-7s, but it was, and I feel like I definitely made the right choice here,
