"Squire! its fixable"
Feature:
The Duncan Design HB 102s fit the guitar perfectly

Quality:
There is no dought that when the guitar was fabricated, the jigs were not set right, the string tree is misaligned, the saddle is too far forward. You have to know what your doing to correct all the flaws the axe has, granted, you shouldnt have to. I removed the saddle, plugged the holes with hard wood dowls, redrilled, and placed the saddle where it needs to be,I removed the strings trees and put them where they need to be,,between me and a luthier,it took some time to get the nut and neck set correctly,,the guitar now plays like a dream, took some work, but its fixed.

Value:
If you have expierence with guiat work and can get the guitar at a good price---get it. Squire did in fact drop the ball with this one,but once its set,you have tone comming at you

Desirability:
Ive always wanted something from Fender or Squire that had a hard tail with buckers and this is it

Sound:
It has a true Les Paul sound to it,it fits what I like, its sounds better than one of my Les Pauls through my JCM800. I use it alot for live performances,it sings.

Ease of Use:
Its plays easy,light weight.

Support:
didnt need it

Overall:
Im leaving this axe stock, after playing for over 30 yrs,I have more guitars than i know what to do with, some modified, some not,I have learned one thing over the yrs,,and that is,,more isnt always better, this guitar (once set correctly) does the job like you would not believe. You gotta know what your doing to set the axe up correctly

"Great guitar for the money, buy it!"
Feature:
ABSOLUTELY LOVE the satin finish, makes things smooth even when sweating. I have the walnut finish, and it is beautiful! Neck plays very nice. This guitar is WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!! The adjusto-matic bridge is set just a bit too far forward, so that setting the intonation (with ernie ball regular slinky 10;13;17;26;36;46 strings) drives the G string saddle ALL THE WAY BACK when it's just a hair short of correct, but just a hair. I could turn the saddle around to get it correct but I really can't tell while playing, so...

Quality:
I am amazed at the quility of this guitar for the low price. I normally play an 82 Harvest Gold Les Paul Custom, Limited Edition, that is my favorite guitar in the world. But this guitar is pretty close for something that cost less than a 10th of my Paul.

Value:
Best deal I have gotten on a guitar in a long long time.

Sound:
Sounds Great, I am a Gibson fan, so the Gibson style electronics appeal to me.

Support:
no experience with support.

Overall:
I bought this on vaction in Chantilly, VA (I live in WA), so that I would have a guitar to play at the beach, I was looking at all the inexpensive (150-250) strats and such, and was going to give whatever I bought to on of my sister's kids (that live in VA) when I was done. All the inexpensive guitars played pretty poorly (even for cheapies) but I picked this guitar up, played it, and wanted it immediately. It played nice at the store, but REALLY played great after I set it up. I really like this guitar.
