Sound: I'm new to the guitar. I don't have that much experience and don't have the background to make an informed decision, but I was satisfied with the sound. Feature: I liked that the bundle came with everything you could possibly need starting out. I broke it out of the box and starting playing a couple chords. The accessories weren't the highest quality, but for starters, it had everything you could think of ever needing. Quality: I like the look to this guitar. It's not the fanciest thing out there, but it has a nice basic look to it. It is vey sturdy. I've heard stories from friends who bought a cheap guitar to learn on and ended up having the thing fall apart on them. The only down side to this guitar is that it gets out of tune really fast. On the bright side, after a couple of weeks, I could expertly tune it in no time. Value: Like I said earlier, It's got everything you need to get started. It's a great deal for what you pay and what you get. Manufacturer Support: I haven't had to call for any support issues yet. The Wow Factor: Nothing too fancy. It is a nice basic guitar. Overall: This is a solid guitar with alot of extra accessories. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to learn guitar on an electric. I wouldn't recommend it to an advanced player. I'm thinking they'd be disappointed by it. Let's face it, nobody wants to spend alot of time tuning a guitar before finishing a session.

"This IS the one for you..."

Sound: Guitar does go out of tune quickly. I find with daily playing, every 2-3 days it needs to be tuned. Feature: Lots of features on this guitar for the price. Humbucker pick up is a nice addition to a guitar in this price range. Ease of Use: For a beginner, it's great. The neck is on the slim side, so folks with bigger hands may find a little time is required to adjust wrist for finger position. Action is nice and low. Quality: The guitar and amp are both of excellent quality. (My only complaint is the amp only has one input-single channel. You can't have a friend plug in and jam along with you unless you get a splitter type hook up cable from Radio Shack. And I imagine with that, the loudness and definition of each instrument would be compromised. It's really a practice amp.) The supplied Fender tuner...basically is junk. Mine malfunctioned out of the box. I bought a Korg tuner...lots of features. 18-20 dollars. The headphones are cheesy-poor sound quality. The quality of the bag is adequate. I don't use the it, I keep my guitar on a stand as I play every day. But if you're traveling and you use the bag, plan on needing to tune the guitar when you arrive... Truthfully, all of the cost in this kit is in the guitar and amp. I've seen the guitar priced alone as low as $150.00. The amp, around $90. So for $40, you're getting eveything else in the kit. Considering the picks, enry level strap, instructional CD, and tremelo bar-I guess that would outweight the poor quality headphones and tuner. Value: Good for beginners...it's all you need. Manufacturer Support: I have not needed any service. The Wow Factor: Great looking, well put together little guitar. Overall: If I needed to replace the guitar today, I would get the same thing-just purchasing the guitar alone, not the pak. A little note: If you are thinking of saving the 30 or 40 doallars and buying the Affinity series Strat (not this Fat Strat), think twice. The strings on this model sit much closer to the neck and fret board that the plain Strat. In other words, the "action" is lower. (I was told this was due to the additional humbucker pick up on the Fat model.) This is VERY important if you're starting out because when the strings are further away, they are even harder to press down. You're likely to get discouraged, and quit. To have your guitar's action adjusted costs around 50 dollars, and you'll be without the guitar for a week or more. Not to mention this Fat Strat sound is much cooler and 'twangier' with the humbucker addition. There are other manufacturers out there with cheaper starting packs. None of them can touch this for sounds and quality. I tried them all. Save your money.
