Description
Think of the Tele Special as the traditional Tele guitar's mischievous brother with its neck-position alnico single coil Strat pickup, hot ceramic humbucker bridge pickup, and hardtail, string-thru bridge. Its no-pickguard design gives it a unique look to match its sound - all at an outstanding price! Other details include an alder body (even at this price!), C-shape maple neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard, and chrome hardware.

Not many features but who needs em?
Quality:
Its backed by fender what more can i say?
Value:
i got mine for $310 AUS which is awesme so im not to sure but i got a great price.
Desirability:
Quite Attractive to the eye and is similar to other teles looks wise (minus the pickguard) and most of the finishes are good looking and stand out a real eye opener.
Sound:
The Humbucker is really good sounding through a distortion sound but the clean sound isnt that good so i use the top single coil but it sounds still a bit buzzy.
Overall:
A great solid working guitar that looks a bit different and has a sound to match its cliche of the teles "tinny" sound. A Great buy for an intermediate level guitar.
