39 years of playing> I have owned regular Fender, Gibson, etc. Marshall, Boogie, I have played pro in bands headlining up and down the West Coast, and I am only stating that to give a point of reference. I know there are myriads of player more talented and successful than myself, BUT I want to talk about this guitar. I almost bough a Squier in 1986 because it felt so good. Rosewood fingerboard, my fingers floated effortlessly about the neck. Well, here I am in 2018 and saw the opportunity to purchase a Squier, and I am in love. It is a Strat. It is a pleasure to play. Most people want to change the pickups and the tuners, and while I do have my eyes on some Seymour Duncan, Stacked Vintage pickups, I love this thing. It feels sexy, it plays like a dream have no problem keeping it in tune...but then, I have years of experience and I know how to tune a guitar. It wails, it screams, it cries...but it has a lot to do with the player. That is the trick with any guitar, but especially a Strat. Les Pauls play with no effort. It takes a player to tame a strat. This one will not disappoint.
