Considering my son is on his fourth lesson right now in a month, should last a good while as long as I inspect it often to ensure nothing gets in his way. Will replace it when he out grows it, prolly a better Fender next.

Sound
Used this as a First Guitar for my 8 year old son to learn on. The overall sound is great, he's also using a Line6 15watt amp, monster cable and WOW! Will certainly put out increadible sounds! The knobs are useful in controlling minor changes, he Luvs the Whammy Bar, very versatile guitar and sounds.

Features
As far as accessories, would have been nice to have a strap and a set of beginner picks at best, but it does allow you to customize what accessory choices are right for you so I wont judge harshly on that one.

Ease of Use
First,,,no manual, not sure it's really needed, maybe a brief overview of the components for beginners but just plug the dam thing in and JAM baby JAM!

Quality
Quality overall I would have gave a 9 also, on the pick guard several screws were loose, they dont have to be Tight just only snug but that wasnt the case, plus the Cord plugin connector nut came loose and popped off, not rocket science nor a big hassle BUT when you pay good hard earned money you expect the little things aatleast would have been tightend. So I'm giving her an 8.

Value
Good Bang for the Buck!
