Sonic Reality's latest update version 1.3 has come out as a cost effective Reason-only version called OmniSoundz Refill. This 300MB GM compatible sound collection contains professional quality multi-samples providing a great alternative to traditional compromised-sounding GM sets.

OmniSoundz Refill is the ReFill version of Sonic Reality's OmniSoundz, the first universal software sample library of General MIDI sounds with native support for Digidesign's Soft Samplecell, Emagic's EXS24, Steinberg's HALion, Native Instruments Kontakt, IK Multimedia's Sampletank and more.

OmniSoundz universal approach means that musicians using any software sampler supported by OmniSoundz or OmniSoundz ReFill can exchange or transmit small Standard MIDI Files with calls to General MIDI instruments and hear the same high-quality sounds. Excerpted from Sonic Reality's professional sound archives, OmniSoundz ReFill offers real playable instruments that would normally cost hundreds of dollars in sample libraries. Instruments include stellar grand pianos, orchestral strings, acoustic & electric guitars, pads, ethnic instruments, brass, woodwinds, saxophones, vocal chorus, analog synths, wine glasses, dulcimer, music box, acoustic drums, percussion and much more.
