Product Description

The SKB R5220W is a roto-molded case construction which allows the user to properly protect almost any 76-key workstation, synthesizer, controller etc. with nearly unmatched features. The new SKB roto molded cases feature a molded-in unbreakable carrying handle and integrated valance design which incorporates the new patent-pending latching system. These latches are made with an indestructible material, easy to operate and can take the rigors of the road. Each case has roller blade style wheels for easy transport. With the new corner cleat system keyboardists can easily adjust the cleat positions to accommodate a variety of keyboard dimensions.

Overall: choices are fairly limited for keyboard hard cases so i guess it's a matter of whether or not you need one... i have a feeling that most of the cost of this product is accounted for by shipping since it is essentially a molded plastic box with zero labor involved. it works, that's about it... makes it so you can stack stuff on top of your really expensive keyboard in the back of the van and not worry about it too much. can't lay it flat and stack though since it is not entirely rigid on the face/lid side or bottom... it will bend and crush what is inside with weight on top. the latches are fine, wheels are helpful, no real problems to speak of aside from the non rigid top and bottom. it works...
