Sennheiser XSW-2 Ci1 Wireless Instrument System

Get a guitar/bass wireless system you can rely on! Sennheiser's XSW 2 Ci1 set includes a cable, bodypack transmitter, and rugged metal-housed XS 2 receiver.

Part of the XS WIRELESS 2 series, the Sennheiser XSW 2 Ci1 wireless instrument set is an easy-to-use, all-in-one wireless system for guitarists and bassists, excellent for live sound. The set includes a stationary receiver for quick set-up and hassle-free handling, as well as a compact bodypack transmitter and a robust instrument cable. Metal receiver housing and rackmount kit included.

XS WIRELESS 2 grows with your demands by offering an intuitive LCD display for more manual options and 12 compatible channels in a stable UHF band, withstanding tougher live stage conditions.

XS Wireless 1 and XS Wireless 2 sets will be fully compatible with each other, and with prior XS Wireless sets, provided the frequency ranges match. Customers can start with XS Wireless 1, and then step up to XS Wireless 2 for greater control as their needs expand.

Components are fully compatible across series, so an XS Wireless 1 system can be upgraded to XS Wireless 2 simply by purchasing a EM-XSW 2 receiver.

Please note the GA 1-XSW 2 rackmount kit that ships in XS Wireless 2 sets is not compatible with original XS Wireless or XS Wireless 1 receivers.

Good:1) easy to set up2) easy to sync3) sound quality4) rangeBad:1) plastic body pack but at the price point what you expect.2) no extension wires and bnc adapters like you get in the Shure BLX guitar wireless rack mount for $30 more dollars (pay for what you get again) to mount on the front bracket.3) Power adapter looks cheap and a terrible design. I tohught German engineering was awesome? Shure makes a better standard power supply plug thats slim and fits in any power socket. Sennheiser's power supply is big and verticle which in my power Furman wouldn't fit with my Kemper right beneath it. I had to move thing's around.4) CHEAP guitar cable.

Sound
Great sound quality. It's Sennheiser

Features
useful feature: easy to sync and set up.least useful: terrible power supply design, CHEAP guitar cord and transmitter/bodypack.oh the brackets are a terrible design and eyesore. Plus NO plastic plugs to fill antenna holes if you don't want to use the front mounts.Shure designed their rackmount brackets better

Ease of Use
Easy yo get sounds. Easy to use with my Shure IEM. No learning curve. Guitar was playable very little to no lag,

Quality
receiver is well made but guitar cable and bodypack are cheap. Receiver will last but hopefully bodypack is secure and safe. Will have to upgrade the guitar chord.

Value
I got it at a really good price read more but after upgrading the guitar cable and having to buying the front mount extension cable/bnc adapter for the unit I decided I should have bought the Shure BLX14R which had everything in the box and better hardware (mounting brackets/guitar cable).

Manufacturer Support
