The Seymour Duncan Tweak Fuzz is a most unique fuzz pedal that incorporates a 6-position 'Tweak' switch to voice your fuzz tone the way you want it. The basic tone will be familiar to players who remember the rich, lush, vintage fuzz tones used at the big '60s pop festivals. But with the addition of the Tweak switch, you can create a myriad of totally unique fuzz tones making this one of the most versatile pedals for electric guitar and bass.

Features:
Tweak Control -- Engages 1 of 6 pre-set EQ resonances that give an overall 'flavor' to the Tweak Fuzz, rolling off the bottom end and influencing the behavior of the Gain control. Each of the 6 frequencies was chosen and voiced to enhance rich harmonics and bring out the most flattering qualities of your guitar or bass.

Gain Control -- Controls the amount of square wave clipping distortion. It can go from mildly distorted to all-out fuzz fury.

Volume Control -- Sets the overall volume to the optimum level. Whether you want to set it to match the bypassed signal or whether you want a big boost when you engage your Tweak Fuzz: it's your decision.

True Bypass -- Removes the circuit from your guitar's signal chain, allowing your guitar's signal pass through the Tweak Fuzz without affecting your tone or gain.

Power Source -- Standard 9-volt battery or regulated 9V DC power supply.

Versatile -- The Tweak feature allows you to voice the box to your tone preference. Works with guitar or bass. It works especially well with non-master volume amps.

Durable -- Heavy-duty 1.6 mm steel sheet metal means this unit is built to be stomped. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Seymour Duncan products.

Sound: This pedal is a cross between a ProCo Rat and a Big Muff.It's very versatile and the tweak knob is helpful in that area. It provides lots of thick distortion/fuzz sustain(Like a Big Muff) and very expressive harmonics(Like a Rat). Feature: The Tweak switch is somewhat like a tone and filter in one. There is enough gain and volume as well...what else would you need? True bypass is a big factor for any guitarist as it doesn't effect the sound when off. It's built like a tank and not big and clunky like some fuzz boxes. Boss AC adaptor or any thing of that same power rating is prefered..so that makes find power supplies easy. Quality: I have only had this for a couple of days and it seems well built. It's solid and appears to be built very strong on the outside...no idea what it looks like inside. Value: I give this an 7 only because you can get a Rat or Big Muff for less. I think it's as good as the ProCo Rat and the Big Muff and they are less in price and both made in the USA as opposed to China where the Tweak Fuzz is made. The Russian Big Muff is a great deal! Manufacturer Support: Did not have to deal with them, so I will give them an 8 for now The Wow Factor: As far as looks it's better than average but not extremely cool looking. I will say that it's different looking than most...which is a good thing. Overall: I'm very happy with this pedal as I own and have owned many fuzzes. I think it's original yet building on the sounds from the Big Muff and RAT. It's a quality made product with quality sound and Duncan should be proud of it, especially because they make pickups mostly. It's sound is not as original as a Maestro or a Guyatone Fuzz, but more useful than the latter(which is most important). I like it alot and I think it's a keeper. Hope this helps.

"THE ULTIMATE FUZZ"

Sound: I think this pedal is the bomb. I can get fuzz face sounds,big muff sounds,and rat sounds. It sounds great with my Vox wah and Marshall valvestate vs100. Cleans up well too. Killer fuzz!!! Feature: I like everything about the pedal. However,instead of silicon transistors,it could have used one of each. GERMANIUM AND SILICON Quality: Built nice. Value: A little bit pricey but worth it. I wish Roger Mayer would build a fuzz like this Manufacturer Support: never had a problem with it The Wow Factor: I would by another one jsut to have it Overall: they need to make one with both silicon and germanium version. That would be nice. Like I said I get great sounds out of all the settings
