The Schecter Hellraiser Special C7 FR 7-String guitar is a beautiful piece designed for the gigging musician. With solid set neck construction and mahogany body with quilted maple top, the Hellraiser Special C7 FR produces great sustain and warmth. Ultra access neck heel allows for upper fret access and Floyd Rose Special tremolo allows for smooth and stable whammy effects. The EMG Active 81-7/85-7 humbuckers give great clarity and note definition which eliminates muddiness, great new for 7 string players!

These high quality tuners feature a classic design in a lubricated and sealed housing to protect gears for a lifetime of maintenance free playability. Details include a 15:1 gear ratio for smooth and precise tuning, removable knobs, threaded hex peghead bushing, and a 10mm diameter peg hole.

Schecter Hellraiser Special C7-FR - Fingerboard: Rosewood

The most common fretboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.

Bridge: The 81-7 is a high output pickup designed especially for the 7-string lead guitarist. The 81 is at its best for high volume overdrive and amps with a master volume. The Floyd Rose Special is the Authentic version of a licensed Floyd Rose tremolo system manufactured in Korea exclusively for Floyd Rose. The Floyd Rose Special maintains the construction parameters and features of an Original Floyd Rose, while utilizing zinc alloy saddles in place of steel and a zinc alloy sustain block in place of brass. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Schecter products.

Sound: The sound manages to be both deep and crisp. The cleans jump out of this thing like no one's buisness. It is my opinion that a brutal guitar sound starts with a great clear clean tone. Then you throw distortion on this thing and it just CRUSHES!!!!! Simply the best guitar I have EVER played, that includes guitars worth twice as much! Feature: Everything on this guitar is great! The Liscenced Floyd Rose is a little noisey, but that is easy to fix. Ease of Use: This thing plays like butter. The 26.5" scale length fits my big hands perfectly! Quality: It is built FLAWLESSLY!!!! Value: It plays better than guitars TWICE the price!!! Manufacturer Support: Haven't needed it!
