Schecter C1 Lady Luck Electric Guitar

Feature:
This guitar is solid mahogany with a mahogany set neck, the neck joint is sturdy smooth and allows great access to the upper frets. The string through body design is great and everything is of the highest quality.

Quality:
This guitar is perfect, it feels sturdy and strong. the binding is smooth, the frets are smooth, the setup was great, low action and perfect intonation.

Value:
This guitar is worth so much more than the asking price. Everyone I have showed it too and let play it is amazed that it costs under $450. Most say that it feels like it should cost nearly twice as much as it does.

Desirability:
The unique look of this beauty, the pin striping and dice on the headstock, the wonderful starting line girl inlay, the matte alloy Grey finish and the distressed chrome hardware, make it visually stunning. The coil tapped Alnico pickups, set neck and all mahogany construction gives it a sound that makes you ache to play it.

Sound:
This guitar sounds amazing, warm and bright. The Schecter Alnico pickups are clear and responsive and the coil tap function lets you achieve 6 distinctively different pickup configurations.

Ease of Use:
This has to be one of the best feeling guitars I have ever played, the neck fits wonderfully in my hand. All the knobs are right where they should be, nothing seems out of place, playing it seems very intuitive.

Support:
So far dealing with Schecter has been great, the lifetime warranty and multiple ways to contact them is always nice. I don't think I will have to deal with any real support.

Overall:
Because of the versatility and sturdy construction of this guitar, combined with its intriguing appearance, I will never get rid of it. If I had to replace it, I would buy another one without a moments hesitation. The only change to this guitar I could imagine would be a bit more cutaway where my right arm comes across the body, but it is not a big deal and I got used to it within 10 minutes of playing it.

Feature:
As far as looks go my favorite is got to be the amberburst exotic it also played like a dream the thing is artistically beautiful im talking about the first exotics not the exotic stars .I played a c-1 elite a few years ago and fell in love with schecters all over again it had neck thru body construction and coil tapping i played that guitar all day thru several different amps when i came back to buy it it was sold the neck was impeccable iplay jazz rock blues metal and gospel it did everything w/flying colors.

Quality:
i would play all the c1s w/passive electronics anywhere for any style of music all the schecters i seen or touched were pretty much staight no dead spots on the neck no intonation problems no fret buzz i cant say that about some of the other manufactuers out there i have played an older classic on the road and i dropped that guitar a couple of times 1 or 2 dings but still played like a killer professional axe.Im not into emgs in my guitars active pick ups tend to color the real tone of the guitar for my taste but that has not stopped alot of younger metal players i know from using schecters they will last as long as you dont run the thing over or throw it out a window.

Value:
number one i have not seen anybody on the east coast asking the 1000 or so for the classics or the elites w/the beautiful abalone inlay and binding around the body the 500 to 800 dollar range is absolutely incredible for the instrument you get.

Desirability:
for me its about sound i have 91 studio les paul its wine red not the prettiest color ebony fret board book macthing maple top over mahogany body the sound is explosive it only gets better with age and its just plain ol earcandy to play it also have a mexican stratocaster this is my all purpose guitar does pretty much what i want it to do so the schecter exotic or classic would give me both worlds in one guitar plus they are just sexy guitars to look at almost form over function i just happen to know they sound good and they will sound like a strat or like a paul or both or maybe like a schecter anyway its not like im looking at an ibanez or jackson or esp its the price for the value in my case i cant afford a prs so only a schecter will do its all im looking at in todays economy thats why its sexy cause it will do what i want it to do for about 700bucks or less dp on what model you get.that sounds like a girl i used to know only the schecter is cheaper

Sound:
actually i give the schecters c-1s w/passive pick ups a 10 for sound there is adifference between the 5 way mega swicth and the 3 way toggle w/push pull coil tap. either way you go you will get those cool single coil sounds like a stratocaster for funk and blues when its time to sing you go to the bridge humbucker these are nasty guitars and i like all of them the classic,elite,plus,and the exotic.

Ease of Use:
what sound do you want? these guitars will giveyou that imean if you want astratocaster you should get a stratocaster but if you want a axe like a prs without the prs pricetag that gives you classic les paul and strat sounds then you have got to ckeck these schecters out.the guitars are plug n play high quality for excellent value.

Support:
i would give the service as far as talking to the people at schecter an 8 maybe a 10 .i dont even own a schecter but i have had some experience with them.i called them to find out the difference between the 5-way mega swicth and the push pull tone knob the mega is wired series parallel series parallel series which gives you a little more tone options than just the regular coil tapping push pull knob but for me i like the push pull knob w/toggle swicth because its wired for only one pick up at a time being split now im confused anyway your ear should know the difference if not go to the schecter website it has the wiring diagrams for most of the c-1 guitars right now im thinking c-1blackjack cause i played one or the exotic. the guys at the company were as excited as i was very cool.

Overall:
like i said before i dont own one but have used one on the road played several others and my eye is on a exotic or a c1 blackjack w/the seymour duncan 59n and the jb in thr bridge 5 way mega swicth when i get it i know ill keep it because i want to retire my les paul to the bedroom hell i might buy 2 with my tax return ive been playing for close to 30 yrs and have owned all kinds of guitars i already know the deal about schecter guitars from back in the day in 80s besides i could buy 3 or 4 of these for the price of 1 2500 dollar prs for now its the schecter.
