Samson Resolv 120a Active Subwoofer (120 Watts, 1x10")

No longer available at zZounds
With a sweepable crossover from 40-180 Hz, a phase switch, and a mute switch jack, the Samson Resolv 120A subwoofer is easy to tailor to your studio's needs.

Taking care of the low end is the Resolv120a powered subwoofer. A powerful 120-watt low frequency amplifier drives a heavy-duty 10" transducer, reproducing tones between 40-180 Hz. The unit has a built-in active crossover, a phase switch, an auto sleep mode, and a convenient mute switch jack allowing the user to easily switch on and off the subwoofer on the fly.

With both binding post I/O and RCA I/O on the rear panel, this sub will pass line-level or speaker-level inputs to your main pair of powered or passive studio monitor speakers.

The "Sweep Hz" control sets the upper limit to the subwoofer's response, which is also the frequency at which the feed to your main speakers is high-pass-filtered. Set the sub to cover the frequencies that your main stereo pair of monitors doesn't reproduce, and get cleaner, more accurate sound in your studio.
