Mic everyone on stage with unobtrusive, low-profile headset mics from Samson, which are equipped with adapters to fit most wireless transmitters.

The low-profile Samson SE50 is a headset microphone that does its job and stays out of the way. After all, what's the point of a headset mic that distracts from your presentation? The Samson SE50 headset microphone delivers unobtrusive voice reinforcement for an affordable price -- and it comes with adapters that fit with just about every wireless bodypack transmitter, including TA3F mini-XLR, TA4F mini-XLR, Hirose locking 4-pin, and mini 1/8" connectors.

Omnidirectional Condenser for Easy Placement

The SE50 is an omnidirectional capsule design. This means it has a non-linear frequency response to audio coming in from all angles, which in turn means that voices amplified through the SE50 will always sound clear and natural, no matter what angle the mic is aimed. This is perfect for fitness instructors and actors who are always moving. If the mic shifts a little, the sound won't change dramatically. A more consistent sound makes for easier sound management and a more pleasant listening experience for the audience. The omnidirectional pickup also means the SE50 can be worn on either side of the head without any additional adjustments necessary. With a detachable cable and four connection adapters, the Samson SE50 adds stellar sound reproduction to just about any manufacturer's wireless system -- including Samson's own wireless systems, of course.

Easy to Place, Easy to Wear

After audio quality, the next major hurdle in low-profile head-worn microphones is positioning. read more The SE50 clears this obstacle with stability and comfort, employing a cushioned "retaining band." Once slipped over the ear, the SE50 is easily secured to its proper position without causing the wearer any discomfort.

Reliability Under Pressure

When Samson says that the SE50 headset mic features a "moisture-resistant coating," they're talking about sweat and saliva. Nature doesn't always mix well with fine electronics, but the SE50 employs a moisture-barrier finish and an adjustable drip ring that offers additional protection to that most delicate part of the unit -- the mic element. That means the SE50 will last longer, with a reduced chance of audio failure mid-performance due to excess moisture.

Features:

- Miniature condenser microphone
- Includes cable adapters to fit most popular wireless bodypack transmitters: TA3F mini-XLR, TA4F mini-XLR, Hirose locking 4-pin, and mini 1/8" connectors

- Moisture-resistant coating and adjustable drip ring to help protect mic element from sweat

For theatre and fitness applications, the Samson SE50 is an obvious choice for improved comfort, reliability, and sound quality. No matter what kind of public presentation you do, the Samson SE50 will be a welcome addition to your gig bag.

"GREAT HEAD SET FOR YOUR MONEY"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I bought this head set a few months ago and like other buyers I thought it was a piece of CRAP to be honest,so it has sat in my cupboard at home up until recently, now hold your horses everyone because here comes the good part.I recently bought a fender Ex po array system plus yamaha MG x6 mini mixing desk and what a hell of a difference in sound, this samson rocks for the price I ran a Rhode HSP -1 through the same system and the samson blew it out of the water for sound now you will say I right but this samson if put through a good system then it will produce the sound that i promise you,the samson needs to go through a good desk I ran through a Beringer and it sounded like poor CRAP but when it was put through the yamaha BGx6 it brought out the beauty of this little headset so its a keeper and will run along side my Shure presention system which cost £500
