What is the difference between a good pair of hi-fi speakers and true studio monitors? Two things. First, hi-fi home speakers exaggerate the lows (and often the highs) to create maximum 'impact'. Well, you have just described the sound of the new Samson Resolve Series Studio Monitors. The Resolv80A is a powered studio monitor with an 8 in. woofer and a 1 in. Titanium tweeter. It's bi-amp powered by 100 watts of power (75W for the lows, 25W for the highs), and A/V shielded. Features include a variable midrange control, automatic standby mode, 1/4 in. TRS balanced and RCA unbalanced inputs.
Ideal for mid- to large-sized control rooms where high volume and serious bass response are required.
