Marking a significant expansion of the popular Q Series microphone line, the Q1 condenser microphone brings a high level of accuracy and audio performance to vocal miking applications.

The Q1 is a handheld condenser vocal microphone that excels in both live and project studio applications. Equipped with a linear frequency response for superior reproduction, it is also designed to withstand high sound pressure levels. Extremely sensitive, it employs a tight cardioid pattern to reduce feedback.

A special shock-mounted element minimizes handling noise and provides additional protection.

Sound: good overall sound. Mid-rangey at first, but is VERY responsive to EQ. Feature: Samson needs to include wind screen seeing that these are condenser mics. Manufacturer Support: I have dealt with samson CS and always got an immediate response!! The Wow Factor: I plan on buying more Overall: The Q1 is like any other mic. It has it's place. Live vocals seem to be the best suitable place, but on drums in studio could also work.
Style of Music: all styles, well not bluegrass....
