What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
Korina body Very warm, lively, and balanced tonewood
Maple fretboard Delivers a bright, snappy sound
Bolt-on neck Articulate, punchy, and easily modified.
5-way pickup selector switch Versatile; wide range of tones from fat to thin

The Reverend Six Gun now has a sleeker body shape. Imagine an 'S' style guitar on steroids -- those familiar tones but bigger, and with a tremolo that stays in tune. This tone gun features Reverend's Salnico single-coils featuring alnico 5 rod magnets, for a classic shimmer and twang but with more body. And you can always dial back the Bass Contour for a leaner more traditional tone -- very versatile!

Custom Pickups

Reverend designs their own proprietary custom pickups, to achieve the best tonal match with their instruments. Reverend pickups are also specifically designed for each position, for balanced volume and tone when switching

Korina Body

Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-light weight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor to producing Reverend's lively, responsive instruments that are rich in harmonics.

Bass Contour

This passive bass roll-off is great for tightening up the low end, or re-voicing the pickups. It can make a humbucker sound like a single-coil, or give a P-90 that classic twang. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips!

Pin-Lock Tuners

A thumbwheel under the tuner pushes a steel pin up through the post, locking the string in place for exceptional tuning stability and super-fast string changes. Also, the posts are custom height, eliminating the need for a second string tree. read more

Wilkinson WVS50 IIK Tremolo

Features include saddles that lock to the baseplate, adjustable arm swing tension, and a push-in/no freeplay arm. Combined with Reverend's graphite nut and pin-lock tuners, it stays in tune even under aggressive whammy action.

Graphite Nut

Reverend uses a graphite impregnated nut on all Reverend instruments. Graphite reduces friction, allowing the strings to easily slide through the nut slots, improving tuning stability.

This is what I own only in Black. it is the Best Guitar you will ever buy for the money. The Bas Contour Control Lets you Tighten Up the Low End and gives you Variable Voicing for the Pickups. I've owned American Deluxe Strats and they don't hold a candle to this beauty. Locking tuners, Graphite Nut and a Wilkinson WVS50 II K Tremelo lets you go up or down WITHOUT going out of tune-(something a Strat can only dream of) and you'll still have a grand left over for a GREAT tube amp. This is everything a Deluxe Strat WISHES it was. When these come out of the box they are so well set up you could literally open it up and gig with it right then, just tune her up and go.I've owned Gibsons and Deluxe Strats and I would take this over any of them,
