The Reverend Kyle Shutt Signature Model is a sealed semi-hollow complete with diagonal block inlays, Kyle Shutt Signature Railhammer pickups, and a Reverend first 4-knob control layout to deliver a broad range of awesomeness. The Kyle Shutt story is becoming familiar around the Reverend headquarters. They are fans, and when he wanted to see guitars, they were thrilled. Reverend handed him a couple of Reverends, and he wouldn*t stop playing them. But when he turned to Joe Naylor and said, "This would be perfect if..." Reverend knew a Signature Model was born.

Kyle Shutt Signature Pickups

The Kyle Shutt Signature set Developed in collaboration with Kyle Shutt of The Sword, and featured in the Reverend Kyle Shutt Signature guitar. The output and clarity are similar to our Hyper Vintage, but with a slightly smoother treble and thicker tone overall. The result is a unique and versatile humbucker, that excels for fat cleans, classic crunch or high gain/fuzz riffing. And like all Railhammers, the extra clarity on the wound strings means they also work great with low tuned guitars.

Korina Body

Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-light weight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor to producing our lively, responsive instruments that are rich in harmonics.

Four Knob Controls

In addition to the Reverend Bass Contour Control, read more and the traditional Tone Control, there are independent volume controls for the bridge and the neck pickups, allowing you to toggle between separate pickup volume levels.

Sealed Semi-Hollow

The lack of an f-hole in this sealed semi-hollow helps to control feedback at high volume while still allowing extra resonance. The body also features an asymmetrical center block, with 1" inch of extra wood added to the bass side for tighter lows and extra sustain.

Diver Down Inlays

The diagonal, pearloid inlays on the neck represent Kyle Shutt's love for scuba diving.

Boneite Nut

Reverend uses "Boneite", a synthetic bone nut on all Reverend instruments. Boneite reduces friction, allowing the strings to easily slide through the nut slots, improving tuning stability.

The Reverend Kyle Schutt Signature Electric is perhaps one of the best guitars out there. I own 3 Fender Strats, 5 Gibson Les Pauls, and a variety of other American made guitars. This little gem has become my favourite of all of them. The action and playability are second to none and the sound is just phenomenal! I've had this guitar for 5 days now, and it just doesn't stop amazing me. I wasn't sure I'd like the Railhammer pickups (I'm a died in the wool Seymour Duncan user), but they have performed with stellar results. I love the independent bass and tone knobs and the volume pots have a very nice swell from 0 to 10. The finish is impeccable! Mine is the Metallic Alpine Burst and just looks gorgeous. The guitar holds tune very well. The factory setup was spot on and the guitar is very well balanced. Definitely not neck heavy. The only complaint I have is that for the price, a case or at least a gig bag should come with the guitar. And don't get me wrong, this guitar is a steal at $1200. It plays and sounds better than just about any higher priced guitar out there. Right now I'm running thru a Marshall JCM 800 Plexi 50 watt half stack. I've also tried it through my 1969 Fender Princeton, Vox AC15, Crate V15, Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Laney Pro Tube 50 watt, and a Lenahan Snakeskin 50 watt. I'm happy with the sounds from everything I've played it through. For a quality guitar that won't break the bank, the Reverend Kyle Schutt Signature is the one to get! read more
