Reverend PA-1 RT Pete Anderson Signature Electric Guitar (with Case)

This version of the PA-1 adds Revtron pickups to heighten the twangy upper-mid frequency range. It also has a feedback-zapping UniBrace and bass roll-off.

What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
Laminated maple top/back/sides Even tone with good sustain
Revtron pickups Designed by Reverend for balanced tone and volume
Bigsby B-70 tremolo Vintage-style vibrato bends notes for cool effects
Graphite nut Self-lubricating, added tuning stability

Right away, I noticed the Pete Anderson was set up with good action and intonation, which can be an issue with hollowbody guitars. A somewhat beefy, satin-finished neck is paired with a flat fretboard radius, which gave the guitar a quick playing feel. Its Bigsby bridge is plenty sensitive for fluttering notes. Tonally, it's got strong overtones and great sustain -- likely due to is UniBrace connecting the top and back. While that helped reduce feedback, I would still not recommend this guitar for high-gain styles. Still, for the rockabilly or country player looking for something different, this Reverend is just what the doctor ordered.
