What's special about this item?

Feature: What it does:
Korina body Very warm, lively, and balanced tonewood
Maple and walnut neck Full, balanced tone and good sustain
6-bolt neck construction Enhanced sonic coupling and strength

The Decision Electric Bass is Reverend's take on the versatile "PJ" setup. It utilizes two distinctly different pickups harnessed to a pickup pan control that allows you to go from funk to thump and all points in-between with the twist of one knob...very versatile!

Custom Pickups

Reverend design their own custom pickups to achieve the best tonal match with their instruments. Reverend pickups are also specifically designed for each position, for balanced volume and tone when switching.

Heavy Duty Tuners

These open-back tuners feature a large gear and a 1/2" diameter post for smooth tuning and increased durability. The 1/2" diameter post has another advantage: smaller posts cause flatwound strings to break when you wind them...no problem with these tuners.

Lock Down Bridge

Reverend's bridge features Allen bolts that lock each saddle down to the massive base plate. This locks the bridge into one solid unit which enhances clarity and attack and produces bell-like sustain. This versatile bridge can also be strung string-thru-body or top-load.

Korina Body

Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-light weight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor to producing lively, responsive instruments that are rich in harmonics.

Six-Bolt Neck Plate

Two extra bolts increase mounting pressure of the neck by fifty percent. This read more makes a stronger neck connection, which improves sustain, tuning stability, and neck alignment. And for convenience, two small screws hold the plate in place when removing the neck.

Pickup Pan Control

This control allows you to blend the two pickups with one knob. Roll in the bridge pickup for more midrange punch, or bring up the neck pickup for more low thump and open highs. Dialing in the perfect tone has never been easier!

Great bass, fine quality and attention to detail in the bass production. Great feeling neck, easy to set up and adjust, cool retro styling, Great tone on the brick and a great blend with the Jazz Blade P-U. My only gripe, (I'm really searching here) is the "blade" pu is a little noisy, I'm a pick user and noticed some popping when really bearing down. I Love Reverend products.
