With four times the wave memory of its predecessor, the TD4 is loaded with great drum and percussion instruments and kits. Kits can be customized with virtual tuning and muffling for the kick, snare and toms. Natural ambiance effects can be adjusted as well.

Sound: The sounds are very high quality and very adjustable/tunable to meet your needs. The only real give away that it is electronic is the cymbal sounds, they are not bad but just fall a bit short of real. Overall in the price bracket they are great! Feature: It is some what expandable but the extra cymbal/ pad line is all you have. Ease of Use: This is truley plug and play! The only bad thing is whatever set you modify it overrides the factory set, wish it had separate storable kits. The factory kits can be restored though. Quality: So far been great! Had it for months and play everyday and the kids beat it up to knock on wood no issues yet. Value: Roland products are not the lowest priced but well worth the money! Manufacturer Support: Hadn't used them yet guess that is a good sign! The Wow Factor: Very sleek package! Easy to use and just plug and play! Overall: This is a great mid level unit but I already could an upgrade. Like the td-9 with the ability to use the rim triggers on all pads!! But overall a fantastic unit!

Style of Music: Everything from rock, zydeco, dance and funk!
