Overview
The versatile SA-300 is built to handle any type of audio source you plug into it: microphones, rhythm machines, keyboards, CD players, etc. With full-range, high-quality stereo 2.1 channel sound, sturdy construction, built-in effects, advanced anti-feedback control, two-piece transportability, loads of I/O options, and more, the SA-300 is a traveling musician's dream.

Features
Four-channel portable stereo PA system

Lightweight (easy to carry) yet powerful

Advanced anti-feedback function

Separate reverb effects for each channel (plus delay for ch 1 and ch 2)

Low Boost switch for powerful low-end

Wide Switch for big stereo effect, plus 3-band EQ

Vocal Enhancer for clear, strong vocals

Detachable woofer unit for easy transport

All-In-One Solution
Lightweight yet feature-packed, the SA-300 is powered by an internal 350W amplifier, which drives a pair of high-performance 6.5-inch speakers; a 200W amp drives the 12-inch woofer unit for booming bottom-end support. A 4-channel mixer is built in, with each channel equipped with a stereo and mic input (channels 3 and 4 are phantom powered). Vocalists can sing with confidence thanks to the SA-300's anti-feedback function and dedicated vocal effects. Also included is a Low-Boost switch for extra beef, plus stereo reverb for a rich, ambient sound.

Transport Friendly
For the utmost in traveling convenience, the SA-300 can be detached into two easy-to-carry components (each with handles), rather than one cumbersome, heavy box. Weighing in at approximately 50 lbs (combined weight), the SA-300 is the lightest portable PA in its class. As an option, the top unit can be used independent of the bass unit; it self-adjusts to function as a standalone stereo speaker unit.

Sound Control Features
Each of the SA-300's four channels is equipped with an independently adjustable reverb effect. For channels 1 and 2, you can switch to a delay effect, and also add a Voice Enhancer to give your vocals more definition and clarity. Adjust and enhance the overall sound with the 3- band EQ knobs, use the Low Boost feature to inject some serious bottom- end power into your sound, and flip the Wide switch for a big stereo sound. Unlike conventional PA systems, SA-300 can be placed behind the player or singer, thanks to the onboard anti-feedback function. The SA-300 avoids feedback before it occurs, so singers can roam the stage with confidence, and with 350 watts of powerful sound at their back. This feedback feature can be activated from the unit, or from an optional footswitch (BOSS FS-5U) for hands-free operation.

Versatile I/O
No matter what instrument, microphone, or musical device you wish to use, the SA-300 can accommodate it. Each of its four channels accepts microphones via XLR inputs, with channels 3 and 4 offering phantom power. In addition, 1/4-inch phone input jacks (L, R) are provided for each channel, and channels 3 and 4 include RCA input (L, R) jacks. If you wish to use additional sound-reinforcement gear, the SA-300 offers 1/4-inch phone outputs and XLR connectors with dedicated ground switches for reducing hum noise. The Stereo Link jack lets you cascade two SA-300s, giving you a total of eight simultaneous channels plus the ability to position the two units on opposing sides of the stage.
Four-channel stereo-plus-subwoofer PA system in a totally portable package! Dual 6.5" speakers driven by 350 watts, plus 12" subwoofer driven by 200 watts. Four-channel mixer section with stereo and phantom-powered mic inputs plus anti-feedback function. Low boost, Wide switch, 3-band EQ, plus reverb.

Roland SA300 Stage Amplifier Reviews

35 People rated this product :

"roland sa-300...great gear!"
Feature:
so lite weight, you couldn't want much more. One of the reasons I purchased this amp was for its massive amount of I/O's. Sharp looking too.

Quality:
pretty solid. Nice layout of controls

Value:
some what expensive but worth it

Desirability:
I want another to link them together

Sound:
Incredible sounding! I use this amp for my Roland juno-d, a sampling peddle, and my vocals in a reggae band. Anything stereo sounds sweet, my boss gt-8 sound pretty damn good running stereo through this. The built in reverb and delay make vocals nice sounding. One of my band members and I used it for two acoustic guitars and vocals for acoustic sets and it really shines in the acoustic department. If you play acoustic guitar this amp is exceptional.

Ease of Use:
just plug and play

Support:
no issues, but I have lots of roland and boss gear and there support is great

Overall:
Get it you won't be disappointed

"Excellent lightweight stereo amp, perfect for digital pianos."
Feature:
Biggest feature: light weight. I don't like to lug around heavy equipment, and each of the two components of this amp weighs less than 30 pounds.

Quality:
Good quality, absolutely no problems in over one year, gigging about twice a week.

Value:
Well, it is expensive!! If you are on a budget, you might choose more weight/less cost.

Sound:
Stereo separation is modest, but I find it effective for reproducing the stereo samples in digital pianos. Plenty of power for the small restaurant/coffee house venues I play in.

Ease of Use:
Pretty standard controls, easy to use.

Support:
I haven't needed support.

Overall:
I would like better stereo separation, but this unit is adequate for my purposes.
