Very compact, clear sounding un-hipped sounding condenser mics. I recently bought this to mic a drum set to be used at this point to mic the cymbals as a single overhead and the snare from the snare drum, until I can find another good option for the snare which then it would be used as a match pair with the other overhead mic. Sound is clear and neutral just what's needed for drums. It barely requires any eq even in my condition which is summing this signal on a sub mixer with the hi-hat and the underneath snare mic. Very good quality mic which came with an additional rubber spacer to fit all mic cables snuggly. This mic should also work very good as a choir and as a brass section or string section mic on live sound. They do are a little gain overload prone, they require just a 1/4" of gain, below unity, to amplify the sound, so watch your gains when using the mic for the first time.
