The Rode Blimp is a complete windshield and shock mounting accessory for the NTG1, NTG2 and NTG3 microphones, as well as any third party shotgun microphone up to 325mm in length.

I would buy the RODE Blimp again.
Sound
The RODE blimp is excellent! I have used it outside in moderate to high Las Vegas winds and you cannot hear any “wind rumble”. I get very high level and it does not color my sound. The blimp is light weight so holding all day on a boom pole is not a problem. I will by several more as I add more microphones to my gear package.
Features
I love the built in XLR cable that fits into the handle. It is nice that RODE included a hairbrush for the wind cover.
