"Remo Clear Pinstripe Kick Head"

Sound:
The pinstripe is an old school sound for the bass drum. It is really midrangey and attackey. It is slightly more open than a powerstroke 3 and has less low end. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a 70's or 80's type sound on their bass drum. Combined with an ebony powerstroke 3 on the front it is a great bass drum sound.

Ease of Use:
It is a little harder to tune than the powerstroke 3

The result is a very focused, low pitched sound with moderate attack and response characteristics that is ideal for creating a deeper, fatter, controlled drum sound in a variety of studio and live drumming situations. PinStripe heads are available in classic Clear as well as Coated, for an even more controlled sound and brush surface.
