"Cool sound and looks"

This will be the head I choose whenever I use Black Suedes on the toms.
Sound
The frequency response and sound seems to be mostly from low to upper mid and quite flat. Using it as a resonant head helped to blend the kick in well with the black suedes I use on the toms and snares.
Features
It comes with a stick on template for cutting a microphone hole. I prefer to remove them for playing.
Ease of Use
It tunes pretty easy. For a resonant head, used a felt mallet as it will get marked up easily with sticks.
Quality
Same good quality as other Remo heads.
Value
Sounds very much like the tattoo heads. Being that I like the sound without any reinforcing rings on the mic hole, it's much cheaper to replace.
Manufacturer Support
Never needed it.
The Wow Factor
Looks good if you have other Black Suede heads on the rest of the set.
