"A fine product"

Feature:
This is a basic rack, and I got exactly what I saw in the catalog, and I am pleased.

Quality:
Seems fine. Very minor little cosmetic blemishes on the steel tracks, etc.

Value:
Definitely worth the price.

Desirability:
It's very sleek, black and fits well into a studio environment.

Ease of Use:
You have to put it together, but that's fine. I had to laugh out loud at the other reviewer who had problems with his/her screws--I'm sure he/she was trying to use the wood screws or some of the other screws that came with the unit, to install the gear. The screws that attach equipment are sold separately. That's pretty funny.

Overall:
I'll probably keep it until I break it moving.

"This is a poorly made product!"

I just purchased a 20 space economy rack. It is dam near impossible to get screws to hold my gear into the the so called rack. So, far I've stripped the heads of two trying to tighten them. The holes are obviously too small and I'll be all day sticking in my 14 units, that is if the screws and my hand hold out. It's obviously poorly made and designed. Do not buy this product unless you like extra work and agravation.

The simplest of designs, these knock down economy racks are black laminate over 5/8" medium density fiberboard. They provide a very economical yet attractive means for rack mounting audio gear in home studios or smaller installations. Assembly hardware and 11-gauge steel rack rail are provided.

An optional swivel base (S10) allows for 360 degree rotation of the racks. Unit comes pre-assembled for either the ER8 or ERS10. Perfect for use on table or desktop. Casters are optional.
