The Randall RD45H Diavlo Guitar Amplifier Head is the perfect size head for virtually any venue. The 45 watts of all tube power is a great medium for players who need more than 20 watts but don't require the excessiveness of a 100-watt head. Like the other amps in the Diavlo series, the RD45H provides two channels plus a boost function for a huge range of tones from clean to extreme gain! Randall loads this amp with dual 6L6 power tubes and 12AX7 preamp tubes for beefiness and punch.

If you're looking for a tube amp that rocks but won't break your back lugging it around, this is it. Smaller than most heads of this type with plenty of power. Smooth knobs, well built with a ripping sound that reminds me of a 100 watt Hiwatt I had in the 70's. I love this little beast. Been playing forty years in many bands and many a crazy gig so I think that counts for something. The only problem I can see is a lack of info on biasing for when I'll have to change the stock ruby tubes. They sound great. The Play as you Pay payment plan offered is a great thing.
