Do Everything. From the moment you plug it in, Event becomes the center of your digital media experience. Record and play back live TV and movies, surf the internet wirelessly, listen to music in digital stereo, watch videos in high definition and surround sound, download and organize your digital photos and make home movies that playback on your TV/HDTV -- all with one very beautiful, very small and very cool computer. You don't even need a monitor since Event is able to connect to your TV or HDTV.

Intended Use
Event was designed as an all around media workstation. Small and portable, it still packs enough of a punch to record and edit 16 tracks of audio, DJ thousands of MP3s or even orchestrate a small masterpiece with virtual instruments and plugins. And, loaded with Windows Media Center, Event becomes a self-contained entertainment system recording live TV, playing DVDs in high definition and audio in surround sound.

Quiet Cool
Taking design cues from both Element and Element 64, Event is housed in a beautiful, all-aluminum chassis keeping it cool and quiet during operation. The advanced aluminum skin lets heat naturally dissipate allowing the fan to run slower and less often to keep unwanted noise to a minimum. And, like all Rain systems, Event is engineered to be stable, reliable and consistent.

The Complete Solution
Though Rain recommends the purchase of an external USB or FireWire soundcard, Event's onboard, high quality 2 channel (5.1 Surround) audio card from Intel is capable of recording, mixing and playback functionality. Also included free are copies of PCDJ professional DJ mixing and NERO CD/DVD burning software. Just open the box and start creating.

Media Savvy
Event comes ready to record live TV, play DVDs with progressive scan technology in high definition and audio in 5.1 surround sound. You don't even need a monitor since Event can connect to your TV (requires S-video) or HDTV right out of the box. Burn CDs and DVDs, edit video and organize your digital photos.
