I admittedly was at first skeptical as it was solid state. But after reading several reviews and not finding a single bad one, and knowing Quilter's reputation, I decided to try it. Not disappointed! It sounds so much like tube to me on channel 2 and channel one is clean and does to me sound like a Fender blackface. And....the size and weight of it are just unreal. Plenty of power for any venue. Takes pedals and preamps wonderfully.

Musical Background:

48 years, guitar play in a working cover band.
