Definately worth the $$, and ZZounds is great to deal with.

Desirability:

Sound:
This stand is incredibly sturdy and adjustable. No sway, and the second tier is adjustable with height, angle. Thge "Z" base is also adjustable for heights from sitting to standing. My only disappointment with it is that it doesn't fold down. I guess I'll just lay it down on my other stuff in my van.

Overall:
If it were lost or stolen, I'd get another one.

"A must for Double Tier stand seekers."

Feature:
The ability to add on accessories is a plus. I have a "On-Stage" Z keyboard stand and I found I couldn't add on additional items which is ok if that's what you need. But if you plan on expanding... Also, the 2nd tier is adjustable (length, width, and angle). The actual width of the base Z716 is fixed.

Quality:
Built well. I put my Motif 6 on the base unit and the stand is pretty stable when playing. I loaded a Virus Indigo on the 2nd tier and it holds well.

Overall:
In all, I must say I really like this stand. It's more versatile than my "On-Stage" Z stand in terms of accessories. The only down side I can find when comparing the two is it isn't as portable as the "On-Stage" (the On-Stage being able to fold up for easy transport) and you can't adjust the the width of the base unit. Also I find the On-Stage stand just a tad bit more stable. But I'm really nitpicking here.

The Z keyboard stand line is a modular system that can be designed in countless ways to suit any user's needs. A single-tier model can eventually be expanded to a fully functioning workstation by adding a variety of available options.

The Z frame provides a solid base for supporting all kinds of gear including keyboards/controllers, recording, audio, and computer equipment, as well as a placement of floor pedals.
