"Nice Features for its Size"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Like I said, I got this guitar for free so I wouldn't be too heartbroken if anything happened to it. That being said, it looks to be a great travel guitar and because I have it tuned to G, it's opened up a whole new door in my songwriting.
Sound
Sounds nice both amplified and unplugged- I have it tuned to G instead of E and that helps a lot with fret buzz. I've only played it through a practice amp as of right now and it really surprised me.
Features
A co-worker just flat out gave me this guitar, and it only had a gigbag, a cable and a set of strings when I got it, so I'll talk about the features of the guitar itself- it's a nice package. You have one humbucker controlled by a 1 volume pot and one tone pot. This guitar also has a vibrato bar, which is a tad sensitive. The guitar surprisingly stays in tune pretty well when the vibrato's used.
Quality
I've only had the guitar for a couple of days, I wouldn't be too rough on it though.
Value
Keep in mind that my value rating in this case is due to the fact that this guitar was given to me- however, I wouldn't pay $150 for it- for that you can get a nice full-size Squier Affinity Stratocaster- which I also own and has made great leaps in quality over the past couple of years.
The Wow Factor
Hmmm... it seems to have been made for kids, so "sex appeal" would be out of the question.
