High quality XLR gold-plated contacts nylon connectors, wired in automatic. Cable mount connections protected by PVC jackets and wired with XLR metal connectors. Sound: Passes signal well. Well shielded. Have played some places where power is suspect at BEST and so far so good. No humm, clicks or pops. Feature: Comes with a bag to keep all the mixer end connectors in. VERY handy. Built very solid. Locks on snake head work well. Ease of Use: Piece of cake. Send cables are black, return cables are red. All connectors at either end are clearly marked. Quality: Built to take the punishment of the road. Value: This is a GREAT deal BECAUSE you will RARELY use the entire 100 feet, of a 100' snake. There's USUALLY about 25 to 30 feet coiled up at the sound board, or the edge of the stage. Knocking about 25 feet off and dropping the price is too good a deal to pass up!!! Manufacturer Support: Haven't had to use it yet.... The Wow Factor: Works great with our current set-up. Overall: If it were lost or stolen, I'd replace it with the same thing.

Overall: Our church needed an audio snake for occasional use and I didn't want to spend a bundle, so I read the reviews and took a chance on this gear. I was not disappointed. We used it for our Easter service in an auditorium and it worked flawlessly. I like the low-profile box, and the 8 aux sends offer a lot of flexibility. It is apparent, though, that this gear is not built to withstand week-in, week-out use. The box is fairly light-guage metal, and the box connectors are soldered onto circuit boards inside; heavy use could result in broken solder joints I suspect. But for occasional use, this a great product at a great price! I haven't use the manufacturer support, but since the rating system doesn't allow for "not applicable", I gave them 3 stars...
