Product Description

The PV 14 USB features built-in DSP effects with multiple reverbs and delays, plus vocal enhancer and much more, while a USB port allows direct connection to a USB-equipped computer for recording from the mixer or playing back digital audio (compatible with Windows XP, ME & 2000). It also includes pre-fader monitor sends; post-fader effects send; inserts on all channels; and dual, switchable line inputs on the two stereo channels.

All PV Series mixers include our Tape to Control Room and Tape to Mix assigns, which allow the operator to monitor an external stereo signal without using any of the mixer's channels. In addition, the mixers' Control Room output sends a stereo master output signal to an external source for monitoring. Phantom power, effects send and a contour switch are also standard on all models.

Sound: Overall a good mixer. It has decent pre amps. Feature: For the cost is does a good job. The preamps are near silent, phantom power on each channel, solid effects. Ease of Use: Easy to use but missing real PFL. This can make it a challange if you are like me and live by the meter. Quality: Very solid, durable. Value: In this price range there is nothing that comes close. The usb interface is good for recording the main out or playback. It has all the features you would need like EQ, effects, and inserts. if you absolutely need PFL you may be disapointed with the signal leds. The size is right at 10U and mounts on the top of a smaller rack fine.(My Yamaha is 12U and this limits the racks I can use) My only real complaint is that I needed to buy rack ears. Manufacturer Support: Support is as good as all Peavey support. Overall: Good features for the money, for our smaller set ups works great.
