Designed to complement the PV family of enclosures, the Peavey PV118D active ported subwoofer utilizes an 18-inch heavy duty woofer with a 3-inch voice coil, and 65 oz. magnet.

Sound: After many reviews I thought I was buying a nice subwoofer for the price and after only 4 gigs, it blew! Being a POWERED SUB, it is not suppose to blow and it is only 3 weeks old! I am writing to ZZOUNDS to see where to take it and see what happened. It is not ths fuse nor the bass speaker itself. I think it is the internal amp itself. I will update thru here, but so far, it was great while it lasted! Feature: Wish it had lockdown wheels/casters. Ease of Use: Its just plug and play, but after 4 gigs, no more play! WHY? Quality: Poor quality in the insides, I expected more from PEAVEY! Value: Price was GREAT! Manufacturer Support: Not yet, but lets wait for this week! The Wow Factor: Was great while it worked! Overall: Let's see after this week if they can fix it!
