Feature:
I love that it has no reverb, heavey reverb is usually just hiding something anyway. The noise gate, prescence and resonance are simple and effective. Nice wide pedal, no stomping the wrong channel with my size 13's
Quality:
Only had it a week, but after 22 years of playing and countless amp heads and combo's It is the toughest looking S.o.b. I've seen thick knobs and swithces, metal mesh on the front and back.
Value:
I played everything within 600 dollars of this amp at the store. The jsx is the most versatile 3 stage amp out there, and cheaper than the glamour names who usually have 3 stages with only 1 decent channel. The clean on this amp is wonderfull.
Desirability:
I thought it looked cheesy in the pictures, but it looks a lot better in person. All my freinds seem to like the look, plus they say it just suits me. I've owned mesa and marshall, but I always seem to come back to peavey. It looks like a peavey.
Sound:
the clean shines, you cant distort it. the crunch is thick without being as sharp and shrill as most high gain amps are today. Even at a lower volume than the other instruments in my band, every note shines through. Very expressive, truly conveys the players style.
Support:
I have not needed support from peavey yet, but then again I never needed it whith the 4 previous peavey amps I have owned, always dependable, I assume their support would be dependable also.
Overall:
as long as it runs I will use it. a great tube amp is a great tube amp, and you can always ad on with stomp boxes or rack units. By itself it is a straight ahead precise machine that allows the listener to hear the player and not just the notes, even whith gain levels that are more than anyone should ever need.

Quality:
this thing is a tank. i took it on tour and it lasted with out a case.. no scratches, dents, broken tubes. anything.
Value:
a little pricey but worth it in the long run.
Desirability:
the chrome is sexy. i must say i took it all off and had the face plate covered in tweed. but either way its hot.
Sound:
to be short and blunt you can make it sound like anything you want. great tone and great clear ch. the od channels just scream to.
Ease of Use:
the head sounds great so its really hard for this amp to sound bad. knobs are straight forward.
Overall:
i really do love this amp and i have played threw a lot of them (different head) before i actually bought this. most amps have there ups and downs but this was just overall a good head.
