"A marvel of impressiveness..."

Feature:
I do like the construction of the guitar very much. It seems to hold up well. The input jack popped after a month but I got it to reseat with no issues. I was pulling the cable a bit harder than usual so I don't blame Peavey. I love the neck on the guitar. It's scale is a little shorter but I love it. I get to feel like I hover over the instrument a little and get greater control. The pickups are incredible. Peavey should, if they don't already, start selling their PU's on the market.

Quality:
I fell in love with what looked to be a great, long lasting finish and the hardware looked rather sturdy as well. I am now pretty certain that insofar as other guitars in the price range go, that this holds up really well. The input jack problem was random at worst.

Value:
I think it's worth the price paid for it. It is good value when compared to other instruments in it's range.

Desirability:
I grew to like the Jack Daniels T-Shirt like advertisement on it, but underneath the muted flash of the instrument was a great polish. Peavey uses some good stuff to bring out the guitars finish. This is black but it was well done.

Sound:
This sounds like a cross between a Gibby LP Studio (bridge) with kind of this tele type of neck warmth that I absolutely fell in love with. In 17 years of playing I have almost never used the neck pickup so this is surprising.

Ease of Use:
I would say it is rather easy to use but it's a guitar so what would be hard about playing?

Support:
I e-mailed Peavey on a few issues and they were great. the response was on topic, helpful and timely. Based on these merits alone, I would continue to buy their products.

Overall:
The size of the guitar is what is so impressive. It feels like what the headstock (back) says, "Peavey Custom Shop Designed Instrument". Well, custom to me about describes this. I would have maybe used some other electronis, pickups, etc. if I were to have built it but I think I would have falledn short of my own expectations. This one is a great addition to my family. This one will grow with me for a long time. There will be others but, I will always cherish the time I spend with it. I am looking into other Peaveys as well. They are terrific to deal with and make a fine product.

About This Product!
Description
The Jack Daniel's Electric EXP guitar by Peavey has all the style, tone and feel at a price that's right. Peavey and Jack Daniel's have partnered together to bring an exclusive line of custom guitars and amps to market that are already making a hit with musicians, as well as collectors and fans. This single-cutaway Peavey Jack Daniel's electric guitar is constructed with resonant mahogany for the body and neck while a solid, 5A-quilt maple arch top finishes off the look. Peavey's patented Dual-Compression Bridge system, a string-through design, creates a metal-to-metal connection for singing sustain and stronger string presence. These guitars also feature ebony fretboards for a smooth attack; two patented, dual-wound, hum-canceling pickups provide high output and unlimited tone. To complete the package we've added chrome Grover-style tuners and chrome knobs with Old No. 7 stamped on top.
