This head has helped me in the studio, live, and just writing music. I was very satisfied with it, and i have no need to buy another head in the near future.

Sound
This amp is a very ballsy amplifier. You can get everything from a jazz fusion to crushing death metal distortion. Really the only thing it is lacking is a reverb. Stompbox distortions aren't even needed with this head. Even though with EMG Active pickups it sounds a little thin. Then a Metal Zone, or a Preamp Overdrive used as a gain boost would add definite body to the sound. And compared to other heads, mesa, carvin, and others similiar. It isn't near as fizzy, all it has to offer is pure aggressive tone. I am in a melodic Death metal band. and it definitely can work with nearly every playing style. A great head for every guitarist. :)

Features
There isn't too many features, but thats what i like about it. This amp makes you work with it. I have always had a real stripped down and simple set up. Im a tone guy, I freak if it isn't clear. And i think the simple equalization setup is a bonus. :) The effects loop works great also.

Ease of Use
By it being a fairly simple setup, it is quite possibly the easiest head to use that i have ever jammed on. Its not like a V3 (having somewhere between 21, and 23 knobs to get in your way and confuse you.) It simply has what you need.

Quality read more
Quite possibly one of the best things about the 6505, is the road proven reliability. It has a very solid and sturdy construction. Built for the road, and works more than perfect in any studio situation.

Value
It really isn't too much, yeah a grand is alot. But for an amp head that you can make last years and years, why wouldn't it be worth it?

Manufacturer Support
The company worked with us just fine. I'd say they actually care about you being satisfied with their product.

The Wow Factor
I have wanted the 6505 since i started playing the guitar. It doesn't look all prestine and insane like an engl or a carvin V3. But it is plain better.
