Dark and Resonant Mahogany Body

A mahogany body is a great choice if you like a darker-sounding guitar with loads of sustain. You'll never be short on lows and mids, and if your output is a little too dark, just dial in some brightness with your tone controls. Your PRS S2 Singlecut Standard's body is cut into a comfortable and cool-looking asymmetrical beveled contour that rests at ease against your front -- a great bonus if you move around a lot while you play.

PRS S2 #7 Treble and Bass Humbuckers

No matter how aggressively or subtly you play, this guitar's set of PRS S2 #7 Treble and Bass pickups will bring out the character and nuance of your style, note after note. Your independent tone controls help you shape how bright or how dark you want your sound, and each tone control has a push/pull feature to get some sweet coil-splitting action.

Mahogany Neck in Pattern Regular Shape

Feel your fingertips run up and down all 22 frets effortlessly over a comfortable rosewood fingerboard. The pattern regular profile rests snugly in your hand as you play, and those ivoroid RPS bird inlays add a nice touch of visual flair.

Secure Nickel Hardware

At the S2 Singlecut Standard's headstock are reliable PRS S2 locking tuners that'll keep each string in tune for longer. At the lower bout is a secure PRS S2 stoptail bridge that not only helps maintain intonation, but it also keeps each string ringing for longer periods, no matter how aggressive or gentle your style is.

I am a strat man!!! Always wanted a Les Paul and when I could afford one I tried one! I've been playing for 40 year's n I do know a good guitar when I see n hear one!!! I also tried the New PRS S2 singlecut standard! The PRS blew the Gibson Les Paul AWAY!!!! SO AWESOME!! I looked for flaws n couldn't fine one,not one!! The quality on these guitars are superior to Gibson! Well guess which one got? For Christmas My wife ordered it from zZounds n in 2 days I was rockin n loving my PRS!!! The neck n action play like butter n the sound,it's not Your Les Paul but it's close n it has a tone of its own! I think the #7 pickups are clearer n won't muddy up under gain! They are nice pups! Oh the single coil tap is fantastic,it won't lose volume like others n you can split neck also! AND when my other band members seen it they raved bout it n raved bout PRS!
