Following in the footsteps of the now iconic TT15 Tiny Terror, the MT20 Micro Terror crams the same classic Orange tone into an even smaller package. This diminutive dynamo makes a great addition to any practice space or home studio, and can even do its part at gigs around town. Experiment with a massive array of tasty tones from transparent cleans to ferocious overdrive. The Micro Terror does it all in an amp head that can comfortably fit into most backpacks.

Classic Tone: Pure and Simple

Like the rest of the Terror series, the MT20 keeps things simple with just a few onboard controls. Try toying with different combinations of volume, tone, and gain levels to dial-in any number different overdriven textures. A single 12AX7 in the preamp maintains the tube-based richness so closely associated with Orange amp heads, while a 20-watt solid state power section provides enough power to pair with a wide variety of cabinets with plenty of vintage British power and crunch. Apart from the signature Orange breakup, the MT20 can also put out plenty of punchy cleans for anything from jazz to indie rock.

One Versatile Little Amp Head

Orange produces an 8-inch extension cab as the standard match for this head, but can also power bigger cabs for larger settings. If you're more interested in practicing at home, a headphone output allows for those late-night silent practice sessions to go till morning. The Micro Terror also includes an auxiliary input to plug-in and jam along to your favorite media device.

Overall: I just got mine yesterday and im still speechless. The sounds that come out of this little box are bigger than the CN Tower itself . It completely knocked out my Marshall MG15. I love the fact of just one knock for tone because to me it is just simpler to use than 10 different knobs of EQ. but that's me ! Im still getting used to less knobs and how to get the sound . Talking about sound the sound of this thing is great , very clear on clean tones , only problem is when you drive the gain knonb past 3 o'clock it gets too fuzzy . Having good cables will help a lot in terms of hums and hisses problems. Overall great amp for the money and certainly much more that i could ever expect from something thats smaller than my shoe

Overall: Excellent amp for this price point. It may be psychological, but I love that it has a tube in the preamp and a powerful (I assume digital class D) 20 watt power section. Very responsive with "tubelike" break up and very solidly built. My only complaint would be the tone knob. It seems to be a Muff style circuit where rolling it down increases the bass and rolling it up cuts the bass in addition to effecting the highs. The amps still manages to sound mid-rangy like you would expect, but it would be better served by a treble and bass knob as with some speakers the distortion can get a bit raspy as you crank it. But over all you can still dial it in well and take pedals great!
