This high-quality, heavyweight, rugged DJ device is not only a hardware controller for performing with the included Native Instruments Traktor LE and MixMeister Fusion Live software; it also houses a professional digital-audio interface to feed your headphones and the sound system.

This complete professional computer-DJ package consists of a hardware controller with built-in audio interface and two software titles: Native Instruments Traktor LE and MixMeister Fusion Live. Firm, reliable knobs, faders, and buttons are high quality, delivering solid and precision performance. An extremely clean, built-in 24-bit professional high-quality computer audio interface feeds pristine audio signal to two stereo outputs and your headphones. Ultra-low latency 44.1kHz and 88.2kHz audio ASIO drivers deliver solid sound. You can even plug in a microphone and talk over your mix.

The Numark OMNI CONTROL comes with Native Instruments Traktor LE software, which is based on Traktor Pro. It gives you four optional layouts, including cover art. You will enjoy new Beatgrid Editing and saving with locked sync for precise performance. New in Traktor LE is manual looping and selectable loop length for flexible loop integration. Additionally, Traktor LE gives you a choice of effects per deck including filter, delay, reverb and flanger. Numark's OMNI CONTROL comes factory mapped for use with Traktor Pro or LE for out-of-the-box performance. It's compatible with Mac and PC, and works with nearly any audio format. Numark MixMeister Fusion Live is the DJ software for performers who want to perfect the production of their performances. Because Numark's OMNI CONTROL supports MIDI over USB, it is the ultimate choice for controlling your favorite MIDI-mappable software.

Sound: Being that the Omni Control has a built in sound card, it sounds great. I can't complain about the sound quality, it kind of has a better sound than the one on my laptop. Feature: All the controls that you need to mix it up is there. Yes its a bit small but its expected for being compact. Ease of Use: Since this is a compact system it is hard to work around the knobs at first but once you get the feel for it, its not that big of a problem. The Omni Controller is not really meant for scratching but it is still possible to do it. Quality: The whole system is a solid, very durable but that doesn't mean its made of steel. Only thing i found kind of flaky was the usb connection on the Omni Controller, but that was my cable. Just make sure you have a good secure usb cable on it and you won't have any problems. Value: The standard price is reasonable for this product. Manufacturer Support: I've called customer support for some general questions and they were very helpful. I didn't have to wait that long on the line to get a rep. The Wow Factor: Silver isn't the most popular color, but this does attract some eyes. When i started doing small gigs, a lot of people commented on how small and "cool" it looked. Overall: If you are interested in doing some basic dj gigs for small parties, then this is your product. If you are OK with how small it is, then i would recommend it. It is compact, durable and has all the buttons needed to keep the party going for hours. I've read some reviews that the faders and the crossfade sliders have messed up on certain people who have owned this, but i have yet to find any problems with it. This product can do the job how ever size your party is.
