The NDX400 is an advanced scratch-capable MP3/CD player fit for the stage of any club. Numark’s Anit-Shock(tm) buffered skip-protections keeps the tunes bumpin', even when the shaking stage may cause other less-worthy CD players to skip.

Flexible and Powerful

The NDX400 is as flexible as it is powerful and can spin audio from a variety of different sources. It plays standard CDs and MP3 CDs for longer playback from a single disc as well as files from USB flash drives. In order to easily navigate through folders on MP3 CDs and USB flash drives, the NDX400 features an easy-to-read text display.

Scratch Worthy

With three hot cues and a large touch-sensitive scratch wheel, the NDX400 has the sensitivity that makes it ideal for the demands of performance scratching. It has advanced braking for vinyl-style stopping of playback, and a reverse mode that enables DJs to incorporate even more special vinyl effects.

The NDX400 allows users to integrate loops instantly into their mixes. Single, continous, and programmable playback modes enable users to control playback order and create custom playlists.

Sound: Sounds great. Mp3 playback comes through clear. Feature: USB slot is great can read an 8gig jump drive in seconds. Flip through folders and mp3 easily with push of folder/file buttons, the display shows folder titles and track title. No need for all kinds of effects. Does what it needs to do. Scratch is ok but I have turntables for that. Hot cues and loop are easy to use. Only thing I would love to have on these would be an internal hard drive for file storage. But that's just being picky. Ease of Use: First pair of cd decks. Plug and play. I jumped right in and started playing with them with no problem. I am used to vinyl mixing and some dj software so im familiar with different mixing techniques. But still easy to control for the novice/starter dj. Quality: Very sturdy. Good design. Value: Best bang for the buck. If u are starting out or strapped for cash then this is what u need. Great sound quality great features. Let ur skill speak for itself. No need for expensive flashy junk. Manufacturer Support: So far so good. The Wow Factor: I own 2 Overall: I did lots of research before buying. Searched for reviews and videos. These appealed to me the most but I still was a little iffy being that these would be my first pair of cd decks ever. I was blown away after I set them up and started to play wit them. I have 2 turntables and now these 2 decks. I am happy with this stand alone set up. Computers are know to slow down and skitz out.

"Corrupted Media loves the Numark NDX400!"
Sound: The sound is amazing, Numark has really stepped up their game in the last few years Feature: I've been a DJ for a long time now, and this numark is one of my favorite cdjs to date. So inexpensive but power packed with features that I actually use unlike some cdjs that give you a bunch of crap that doesn't really work well. Personally I like it better than my Pioneer CDJ 200, mainly because of the full range pitch adjustment that gives you full control, as well as the indispensable hot cue functions. Ease of Use: Super easy to use, only thing I would like better is if the play pause were continuous with the cue function like on pioneer models Quality: Only had this one for a few weeks, but its already been to the desert a few times and its holding up really nicely, Its great for traveling and the pots and faders arent removable so no worrys taking it to a gig to make a little cash using your equipment cuz no ones gunna steal your faders. The rubber feet on the bottom do a great job preventing slippage, we've used it off the hood of a car and not had a problem. Value: great value! you really cant go wrong with this one if you've got around $200 to spend on a new CDJ. Manufacturer Support: Honestly, I have yet to have a problem with any of my numark gear, its so well built that I've never had to call customer support in the 10+ years I've been using it The Wow Factor: This thing is hot! great for djs with thumb drives, I've gotten a lot of good feedback when I take this thing out to a party. I'm actually looking to add another to my set up soon Overall: Only reason I'd go a step up is if I came into some money, but at this point I'd be happy getting just another to match it. I love it and it has yet to do me wrong
