Nemesis by Eden N28S Silver Series Bass Combo Amplifier (120 Watts, 2x8 in.)

Feature:
Great features, signal led, tone shaping control, compressor, aux in, 2 channels, effects loop, direct out, headphones and internal and external speaker jacks. Plenty of power to push the speakers. (120watts)

Quality:
I have many bass player friends who own Eden amps, and I have never heard of a problem.

Value:
I believe it is one of the top contenders in this size and price range.

Desirability:
"I Bought It"...... I compared the 10", 12" and 2x8" models. My opinion is that the 10" is little underpowered (80 watts) for stage use, the 12" and 2x8" were very close in performance, but they had different tones and are a matter of personal preference. It was a hard choice between the 12" and 2x8"

Sound:
Very nice sound. Not "in your face" tone, a little "farther away" tone. It took a little time to get used to the tone controls, to dial in the sound I wanted, but I was finally able to get a nice deep and rich tone.

Support:
I have heard good things, though i have not needed the support myself.

Overall:
I use it on an amp stand facing me like a monitor. With tweaking I was able to dial up as much bass as the 12" version. These 2 8" speakers sound amazing for their size.

Feature:
This functions great as a practice/garage amp. The CD inputs and aux inputs are handy. I love the speaker off switch, which helps if switching guitars or plugging in effects. Has built in compressor.

Quality:
Well, the first thing that went wrong was a rattle/buzz in the cabinet... something was loose. Hitting an E, low or high, would make it buzz. Took it completely apart and tightened every screw on it and it finally stopped. I thought it might be just mine, but a friend bought the 1x12 version and had the same problem.

Value:
It seems a little high, but not excessively so.

Desirability:
Well, it's sort of an Eden, so that's cool. It looks good, classic look and professional looking.

Sound:
Sounds good at moderate to nearly high volumes... get it really loud and it starts breaking up... punchy, with clarity and great clean tone... The tweeter is loud... get the amp up past three or four and the hiss very noticeable. I opened it up and unplugged it. But it is a good sounding amp, no doubt.

Ease of Use:
Fairly easy to use. The manual is almost non-existent. It covers every similar product and doesn't go into any meaningful detail about settings, especially for a beginner.

Support:
Didn't attempt to use customer service, didn't want the hassle.

Overall:
Nice small size. Has an external speaker output to plug in another cab. I would replace it only to get more power and probably would keep it as a practice amp, now that I think about it. It functions well for now. I would probably not replace it if stolen, but only because I would want something bigger at this point. Probably buy a bigger Eden or perhaps a tube head. I do plan to keep the Nemesis 2x10 cab I bought.
