Sound: Allows customizing to work with many computer systems (external/internal; clock sequencing, etc.) without having to have a computer degree or much of a computer background. If you can install the program, odds are you will get it to work with your system. Plus, a lot of online help through Native Instruments. Many features that will satisfy the novice to creative DJ that likes to experiment or needs effects and an array of built in mixer settings found on the most elite mixers out there. Whether you are a closet DJ, week-end warrior or somebody hitting the road and clubs…this program could be the tool for you to take it to the next level. Feature: Did I mention all the bells and whistles and pre programed mixer effects found on systems used by the best out there? Want to add reverb, delay, flange (basic stuff) or be able to tweak the x and y axis of sound while being able to store pre slect start/cue points and loops? If you answered yes or "dun no" to any of the above, then Tracktor deserves a look. There are better programs out there but (1) big bucks (2) you would probably be using them for a living since the learning curve is steep. Ease of Use: Rip in MP3 or I tunes... tell the system where you store you music and it imports all your songs for you. Will not recognize WMA files (go figure). Playing around with the program helps alot... don't be afraid you will not break it. I did run into a few time and output issues at first, the support team helped me pull my head out. I haven't bought the "training DVD" and have been doing great. I did catch a few online samples from Native and did like how they made that tool so anybody can quickly use the system without wasting a weekend in the manual. Quality: I've used PCDJ before and Tracktor is in a league of it's own. Others can not compare. And the price... you cannot beat it! Value: Big bang for the buck. Less then 100 bucks and you are rocking (depending on your computer system, sound card, etc..). Manufacturer Support: Okay, I've only contacted them once. I was having a mental lapse and they were very understanding and helped me out without slapping me in the face with a standard insult such as "next time check out our FAQ section in our web page" (which I've got from other places). The Wow Factor: Hell yes I want it. I will get a back up computer system for my rig and Tracktor will be on it! Overall: Looking for hole in the mighty armor ... I hope Native makes future upgrades so Tracktor can work in newer high speed systems (not just a 32-bit compatible environment to operate under 64-bit versions of Windows XP/Vista).

Style of Music: I'm a mobile DJ.... you name it.

"The Only option for Creative minds."

Sound: the sound is amazing.it can't get better than this.i'm using a macbook and the audio 8 dj due to it's ultra low latency drivers and hardware.people have told me time and again my music sounds amazing and i know why.those of you using windows,forget it,windows is not reliable with this software,i did it be4 and i tell you macs rule.i can use the highest settings possible with a gap of only 2 seconds of latency.i tried 1 sec too and it worked well for me on a regular macbook not even a pro. Feature: i used serato before and it is way behind traktor.this software rules.u get to use effects we used to find only on high end mixers.for $99 u get a value i've calculated at $1800 without all the extra hardware. Ease of Use: i'm giving it a 7 because man you need to study traktor for months to get even halfway as good as guys like dj feli fel that use it.because it replaces alot of hardware,alot of time has to be put into traktor tutorials as well as practice.if u r creative this is the software for you. Quality: nothing beats traktor.the germans have done it yet agin.first on my Bmw now my Beats. Value: well worth it.paid 299 back then but then i charge $600 per gig so i'm good,i have a regular it job but dj on the weekend and man this extra cash works well for me.if i do friday and saturday.that's 1200 easy.
